Iowa Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) offers communities, child care professionals, and parents a unique blend of direct services, planning expertise and data collection. CCR&R agencies work to connect families with quality early care and education options and facilitate professional development opportunities for the adults who care for and educate our youngest Iowans. CCR&R also works to build the supply of quality care and education in communities, collecting data that impact slocal and statewide policy decisions to help families and communities ensure that Iowa’s vision is met.

All children, beginning at birth, will be healthy and successful.

All child care programs enrolled with CCR&R of Central Iowa have been invited to have their business listed here, however some providers and programs have elected to not have their listing available online.

Assisted Referrals:

To contact a Parent Referral Services Specialist contact lookingforchildcare@orchardplace.org or call 515-246-3563 or 800-722-7619 ext 3563.  The Parent Referral Specialist will ask you questions about your family’s child care needs to complete a customized search of the CCR&R child care database. Parent Referral Services Specialist may also refer you to community resources your family may qualify for. 

Call anytime during these hours:  7:00 am-7:00 pm Monday –Thursday, 7:00 am-3 pm Friday and 8:00 am-11:30 am Saturday.
