CCR&R – Polk County

Self Study Video Training Information

As of September 1, 2005, Self Study Video Training materials will no longer be available at Polk County libraries.  A Self Study Video Training library for Polk County child care providers will be housed at:

            Child Care Resource & Referral of Central Iowa
            808 Fifth Avenue
            Des Moines, IA  50309

Self study video training tapes may be checked out at the Polk County CCR&R office for two weeks.  A provider can check out up to 3 videos at one time.  All videos checked out must be returned before additional videos can be borrowed.  Loss of videos or habitual late returns will result in suspension or discontinuation of video training privileges. 

Each self study video training tape is worth 1 contact hour of training.  Your self study test materials will be reviewed by CCR&R staff, if self study materials are completed in full and correct, a training certificate will be mailed to the address you list on the cover sheet of your self study test page.

As of September 1, 2005, the following titles are the only titles accepted for self study video training credit by the Polk County CCR&R office.  The listing will be updated as the video library expands.  You may also view this list on-line at www.centraliowachildcare.org.
